Now that the Oscars are behind us, we wanted to share more about our equivalent in the cannabis industry: “The Sparkies”!
Every year, our friends over at r/BostonTrees host an annual competition for the best cannabis in the Commonwealth. For those who are new to the world of r/BostonTrees, it’s an influential cannabis forum for New England on the website, Reddit. It’s a place where Massachusetts cannabis patients and consumers come together to share information about dispensaries and products, pose questions, and generally discuss all things cannabis. Recently, we even had our own CEO answer questions there (read them here).
The competition, known as “The Sparkies,” allows all members of the of r/BostonTrees community to nominate and vote on the best of the medical and adult-use dispensaries in Massachusetts. The voting is all done by the users and is entirely democratic. There are nearly 28 categories, and all dispensaries are nominated.
