One week after Ohio became the 24th state to legalize recreational cannabis use, one of the state’s dispensaries has provided insights on their buying statistics. Theory Wellness, located in Sherwood, noted customers were spending an average of $75 per visit and purchasing at least two items during their visits.

Recreational marijuana sales started Tuesday, something a lot of Ohio residents have been anxiously awaiting. "It's a historical day in Ohio in my opinion," Van Wert resident Dustin Taylor said. "I'm 51 years old and have been waiting for this for a long time, and it's finally here."
