About Ruff Tales Rescue
Ruff Tales Rescue is a 100% volunteer-run, registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to giving abandoned dogs a second chance.
The organization rescues dogs from shelters in southern states, including Texas and Kentucky, where animal overpopulation puts many dogs at risk of euthanasia. Once rescued, the dogs are placed with foster families before making their way north to find permanent homes throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
Because Ruff Tales does not operate a physical shelter, its network of foster families is essential. These volunteers provide dogs with a safe and loving place to stay while Ruff Tales works to find the right forever home for each one.
Help Support the Foster Pups
Can’t make it on October 17th? You can still support Ruff Tales and the dogs in their care.
As an entirely volunteer-run rescue, Ruff Tales relies on donations to help cover food, medical care, training, transportation, and other necessities. Donations of food and supplies are especially helpful for supporting foster families and reducing the out-of-pocket costs of caring for a dog while they wait for their permanent home.
According to Ruff Tales, 100% of donations go directly toward supporting the dogs and the organization’s rescue efforts.
